Google adds 'UNDO Send' Feature for its Gmail account users

Now if you've sent an email something you regret. NO worries!!!
You can simply hit Undo Send and all will be right in the email world once more.

Google had released an option to all it gmail account users where one can configure undo send time and with in that interval the end user have the option to undo the email that had been sent.

The timer can be set to work with either 5, 10, 20 or 30 seconds delay after sending an email. So, you can undo the sent mail to the wrong person or a wrongly drafted email within that time frame.

Steps do so -
Go to Setting in your Gmail account and in General option check undo send feature and configure the time as per your requirement.

How it works -

By updating your settings, gmail just delays sending the message until the threshold time that you have configured for your account is completed.once the threshold time reaches your email would be sent.

Say if you have configured your undo setting to 30 seconds. after drafting the email you clicked on send button, for the next 30 seconds a pop-up will confirm "Send" has been hit and an "Undo" option will be click-able for the next 30 seconds. Once that time is up this pop-up changes to a "Sent" message and your email would be sent to end user

This is a last gasp option available to undo the wrong email that you sent.

Mobile Users -

The only way to use the Undo Send option for all the mobile users is to download and start using Google's Inbox app, rather than the Gmail app or website which doesn't support this option as of now.
