Produced and directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Bajirao Mastani is based on the love story between 18th century Maratha warrior Peshwa Bajirao I (Ranveer Singh) and his second wife Mastani (Deepika). Priyanka Chopra will be playing Kashibai, the role of Maratha warrior ‘Peshwa Bajirao’s‘ first wife.

The movie is scheduled to release on December 18 and teaser would be relaased on July 16th

Salman to play double role after 16 years

Salman Khan will be seen playing a double role after a gap of 16 years. Salman who received appreciation for his double role performance in David Dhawan’s 1997 hit ‘Judwaa’ will once again play a double role for Sooraj Barjatya’s Bade Bhaiyaa. Salman had last worked with the Barjatya’s in Hum Saath Saath Hain and the two will be coming together once again for this film. Incidentally, Salman will also be playing a double role in Anees Bazmee’s No Entry Sequel.

Aish to make a comeback with an item number in Ram Leela ??

Bollywood diva, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is all set to make a comeback in movies with another item number. News has it that Sanjay Leela Bansali has signed her up for an item number in his under-production Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Ram Leela’. Aishwarya has earlier worked with the filmmaker in three movies which are Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Devdas and Guzaarish. Aishwarya has not been seen on the big-screen after she became a mother of a baby girl, Aaradhya Bachchan.

Amitabh Bachchan voted as greatest Bollywood star in UK poll

In a UK poll conducted to celebrate 100 years of Indian cinema, Amitabh Bachchan has been voted as the greatest Bollywood star of all time. Amitabh, who has won several distinguished awards, bagged the major share of votes from critics, fans and the film fraternity to be named on top of the survey ’100 Greatest Bollywood Stars’ published by the British Asian weekly newspaper ‘Eastern Eye’. Yesteryear acting legend Dilip Kumar came in second while the current box king badshah Shahrukh Khan came in a close third. Madhuri Dixit topped the survey among Bollywood’s female actresses and was placed fourth in the overall list.

Motherhood has changed Me - Aishwarya Rai

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan may not have signed movies after giving birth to her baby girl, Aaradhya, but however, she doesn’t feel her return to movies should be termed as her comeback. She said, “I don’t believe in comebacks. When was I away from the industry that I have to make a comeback now? I was always involved in it, so there is no point, in terming it as a ‘comeback’. Yes, I was enjoying a slight break with my daughter and I thoroughly loved it.” Aishwarya is enjoying her motherhood and happily said, “Motherhood is a whole book in itself. Salman and SRK, patch up ??

Finally after so many years, the two reigning superstars of Bollywood Salman and Shahrukh Khan finally patched up  At least That's what Industry people are hopeing . Both Salman and Shahrukh embraced each other and put an end to their fight that was one of most widely discussed topics of Bollywood and it has been 5 years since the two actors have spoken to each other. This is nothing of a miracle and a lot of credit goes to their common good friend Baba Siddique who finally made it happen at his Iftaar party that he hosted in this auspicious month of Ramzan. However, it will be interesting to see how the friendship moves heads ahead over time. For now, it’s celebration time for both and the industry.

Dia Mirza to tie the knot with beau next year

Actress Dia Mirza is set to marry long-time boyfriend and businessman Sahil Sangha next year whom she credits for bringing in a lot of calm and confidence into her life. Dia elaborated saying, “A professional partner and a life partner have an integral role to play. Sahil is my peacemaker. He brings calm and a great sense of confidence into everything I do. He is an incredible human being. He is extremely talented.”

Confirming the news of their marriage, Dia said, “I will marry him next year. I don’t know how things will change…everyone tells me that everything changes. I guess I will live and learn. Hrithik’s brain surgery goes smoothly

Bollywood hunk Hrithik Roshan underwent a brain surgery on Sunday to remove an old blood clot that was resting on his brain surface. This surgery was successful and Hrithik has been advised to take complete rest for three weeks. 
Dr. VK Mishra, who is attending to Hrithik, confirmed that the operation had been successful and he stated, “The operation (brain surgery) has been successful. He is fully conscious”.

                          Hrithik, who was scheduled to leave for Prague on Sunday for the shoot of his upcoming film ‘Bang Bang’, had been experiencing persistent nagging headaches and when was taken to the hospital for an MRI, it revealed a clot behind his lobe. This brain clot had resulted from an old stunt injury and after several consultations a neurosurgeon from abroad operated on Hrithik at the Mumbai’s famous Hinduja Hospital. His parents and wife Susanne were present throughout the 50-minute neuro-surgery. Bollywood3 wishes Hrithik a speedy recovery.

Shahrukh Khan blessed with a baby boy

Shahrukh Khan is a happy man today as he has become a dad for the third time. The child was born after 34 weeks of pregnancy and weighed 1.5kg at birth and this happened with the help of a surrogate mother. Earlier last month, there was a huge controversy as there were reports that Shahrukh Khan tried to determine the sex of his unborn child. According to reports, the baby is now back with the Khans and the surrogate mom who delivered the baby has already flown back to London.

Golmaal nears completion

Venkatesh, Ram starrer Golmaal is fast nearing completion. Except for two songs, the rest of the film’s shooting has been completed. Directed by Vijay Bhaskar, the film also stars Anjali and Shazahn Padamsee in lead roles. Sravanthi Ravi Kishore and D Suresh Babu are jointly producing the film.

Golmaal is the official Telugu remake of Abhishek Bachchan and Ajay Devgan starrer Bol Bachchan and plenty of changes have been made to suit the Telugu nativity. The entire cast is surprised at the pace with which Vijay Bhaskar has shot the film and in fact, Ram revealed that it’s his fastest films ever.

The film unit will soon go abroad to can one song each one Ram -Shazahn Padamsee and Venkatesh-Anjali. More details about the film will be revealed soon and it’s expected to hit the screens later this year.

Big B reveals his accidental meet with Michael Jackson

Bollywood biggest legend Amitabh Bachchan apparently had the opportunity to meet the King of Pop Michael Jackson. This meeting was purely accidental and this happened during his visit to New York many years ago when he was allotted a room in the same hotel that Michael was also staying in. Michael Jackson accidently knocked on Big B’s room thinking it was his room and so that’s how the accidental meeting happened between the legends.

Big B recently revealed the details about his meet on Michael’s 4th death anniversary when he posted on his Facebook profile, “Its 4 years since the death of Michael Jackson … a true phenomenon, if ever there was one .. I had met him in New York once, when he had knocked on my Hotel room door by mistake, thinking it was his … we were staying in the same Hotel .. Earlier I had been to a concert of his in Jacksonville .. Had no tickets, no room bookings, nothing … but managed to get a place right on the last tier of the stadium he was performing in .. Such fantastic memories.”

Imran learns an interesting way of handling distractions from Akshay Kumar

Imran Khan who is working with Akshay Kumar in ‘Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai Dobara’ says he learned how to handle distractions on the set from Akshay. Speaking of this, Imran said, “What I learnt from Akshay is that sometimes odd things start happening while shooting… a prop falls down or someone’s phone rings… there are a hundred distractions. Normally, in these cases, we cancel the shot because something goes wrong. But Akshay can improvise the moment and he incorporates that distraction or issue in the scene.”

Imran recounted one such interesting instance saying, “There’s a scene where he is sitting and writing and I come in. He looks up and speaks to me, but then (when we were shooting it), the pen fell down. He didn’t do anything, and just gestured me with his eyes to pick it up. I picked up the pen, saw it and handed it to him and kept the dialogues running.” The above mentioned scene has been used in the movie just the way Imran described it . The film has been directed by Milan Luthria and also features Sonakshi Sinha and the movie will hit theatres on August 15.

'Yevadu' Audio Release on July 1st.

Audio launch event of Ram Charan starrer 'Yevadu' is going to be on July 1st. The audio launch event will be held at HICC (Novatel) in Hyderabad.

Yevadu has Shruti Haasan and Amy Jackson as its leading women. The film also stars Allu Arjun and Kajal Agarwal in cameo roles. Directed by Vamsi Paidipalli, Yevadu is produced by Dil Raju, under Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. Devi Sri Prasad has composed the tunes for this film.

The film will be released on 25th July.
